Saxophones, trumpets, horns, trombones, guitars, bass, keyboards, drums, percussion - and any other instrument - are welcome to join this exciting band. You will need to be able to 'read the dots' to about Grade 3 standard, but there is no sight-reading involved, and guitarists will need to learn to read chord signs such as CMaj7 (but I can help you with that).

You will not be forced against your will into improvising solos! However, I will give you guidance and encouragement should you wish to try. I also hold Improvisation Workshops at various times throughout the year, suitable for first-time or experienced improvisers.

This band is very popular and great fun to be involved in. UNFORTUNATELY, at time of writing we are still trying to arrange a rehearsal venue in the new campus, and rehearsals have been suspended until further notice - hopefully not long!
