Welcome to the website for the music groups of Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, Scotland.

My name is Rob MacKillop. I'm the Musician In Residence for QMU, with the task of getting staff and students together to play music. Since moving to our new campus near Musselburgh, we have opened up the groups to the local communities. All amateur musicians are welcome to join any of the bands/ensembles currently running. The standard varies from complete beginner to seasoned professional. Most of the groups have beginner members, except for the Baroque Ensemble which requires a minimum level of Grade 4.
